Now they need to attack Israel

let's break this down

"The loitering munition flies towards the designated area with a GLONASS-aided inertial navigation system."

This means using an off-the-shelf GPS open pilot system used by RC plane builders everywhere. They cost less than $50. Most are about 20.

" After arriving in the area, the operator utilizes an onboard electro-optical system via a two-way data-link to detect, track and lock on the target."

This means they use a simple onboard CCD camera with a broadcast system commonly used by RC plane builders again the whole system including the receiver is probably less than $100 in the individual cameras which are destroyed are less than 20.

" A laser-ranging system then controls the detonation of the warhead."

Well this could be as much as easy as going to your local Home Depot and getting one of those LED proximity detectors. But it would seem easier to have an open contact switch inside the missile right behind the motor so when the body of the missile hits the motor as it hits the vehicle then it detonates the bomb. I mean that seems to be what the ukrainians are doing with their drones. If you look at the pictures the ukrainians have two bent pieces of what looks like a coat hanger that don't touch each other but when the front of the drone hits something those two pieces of metal are put together and obviously complete a circuit that detonates the weapon.

None of this stuff is hard and it hasn't been hard for the last 10 years. And that's the scary part is this stuff can just be everywhere. And they can couch it in highfaluting military-sounding terms but this stuff is everywhere.

But we also see tons of videos (or did) where their boats cross to the left bank with militants and equipment without being hit once. Why Russia isn't expending 10,000 drones across the front on a daily basis is inexplicable.
