I was never down on a White brother over hair, or anything of that nature, tattoos, etc. It’s just that we run a business catering to the top 1% of this particular community. After a day of thought, I was down for calling him back in for a “working interview”. Four hours in store, to see if they are a fit, both for us and them. Wife was on board. Following morning, wife becomes not on board. She sites that ‘people who are not actively working towards bigger things and trying to improve themselves, bring her down’. Here I was willing to give the guy the chance he maybe needs, but I have to consider her view as well. So, I’m reviewing other applications and he is still on my list, so we'll see.

I'd judge the kid on whether he can do the job, but you are looking for a wage slave, not a person creating their own thing. Hire the person with the right personality, skills, and willingness to do the needful, whether him or someone else.

I think guys that have short hair and a clean shaven face are suspicious. That's not normal throughout most of human history. It's EXTREMELY unnatural for a guy to have well kept hair parted to one side and no facial hair. In fact, I think it's really fucking gay.

I am one of the best in the business in my region, and get compensated accordingly despite long hair. I belong to a chairitable organization where I hob-knob with some fairly big name politicians- me and my long hair- and even chops. You sound like an idiot judging someone on that fact alone. The long hair heathen is more likely to be an independent thinker and not a sheep. He is likely more intelligent and creative. If the heathen doesn’t have good manners, etiquette, and hygiene- that’s quite a valid reason to be leery, of course. But all things equal, I’d steer MORE towards him than away.
If this long hair guy knew his hair was a consideration for employment he would likely tell the originalicemonkey and his wife to go fuck themselves. Why don't you do this guy a favor and cross him off your list so he can go work with people who value merit.
