Spent one night homeless in February when I was living outside Philadelphia, in freezing rain. I thought I was going to die that night. At 7am my friend got off work and took me in, I was soaked and probably in hypothermia. I was born and raised in Florida and that was my first winter up there.

Yeah, I'll take searing heat over cold anyway. I've had heat stroke too, freezing is worse. Way worse.

you know your geography. i wish i could live in a place of all year round of cool temps and by cool temps i mean highs in the low to mid 70's and lows in the upper 50's- mid 60's

that would be just perfect weather for me. here in miami we only get one or two months of winter and the rest is like an eternal summer with humidity to boot

Yes, the average is 46f to 76f. Did hit 34f during a Canadian incursion last winter, and all the peppers died except for the bottom 4 inches of one stem. I've lived in Wisconsin, Georgia, and Pennsylvania, so I recognized climate relief when I found it.
