So, by issuing a "disaster" are they no longer able to fish or catch crawfish? They are using this kind of tactic in NW regarding fishing ... to "protect the ecosystem" they are banning all kinds of meat products and crushing the industry. It seems they are framing it in terms of "relief" so it seems they are already bankrolled to pay any big dissenters off to get the new system going.

"Drought"? I don't believe it. The state borders an enormous river with incredible capacity for supporting crawfish farming. Much of California was a desert, so it's vulnerable to low rainfall, but Mississippi? C'mon. That's just fucking stupid.

Salt water is higher up the Mississippi than it's ever been.
Crawfish don't survive brackish water,it kills them with in hours of contamination.
