One thing I think needs to be noted is that all these w e f people are saying things that science fiction writers have been saying for 30 years. It's not like they are some kind of pressing people and predicting the future and the greatest geniuses of all. Anybody who had read any of the four biggest science fiction writers from the 1950s through the 80s would realize all these things were very well covered by all those people and quite easy to predict. I think one of the things that these we have people do is they get some traction from people because even though they don't like the way they say it they say things that are quite obviously going to be true and to people who aren't familiar with science fiction of the last 40 years they think these guys are geniuses and thinking it up for the first time.

That's just stupid.
