...when a schizophrenic is King of the mountain, the summit has more than one throne.

My original intent was to post memoirs of a wild escapade back in 1982/83/84 that involved the dynamics of an "exotic commodity" exclusive to the region of Nepal along with the two and a half years game of "cat & mouse" with a number of law enforcement agencies, but I was overruled by my "MPs" (multiple personality). So we go with something different.

Given the healthy dislike I have for pretty much everything, it only stands to reason that my position is also that of whom I share the mountain top with. We have a strong commitment to the principle that our only concern is for the well-being of each other...particularly when engaged in business transactions involving people who are 180° different, who are culturally and ideologically detached from our world...people who never smile and say very little, just the way we like it.

Something that has always been a bit strange was that I've never seen mentioned in media, either through regular news casting or military intelligence type of talk programs, was the Islamic militant group associated with the label/logo that was dyed into the canvas coverings of the "exotic commodity" that we were "appropriating". I'm not going to get into detail but the artwork was impressive with the main focal point being a horse in full stride and the imagery was outlined in gold as was the wording at the feet of the horse, it was impressive and this group was very serious about it's intent. Either they were purposely overlooked or they were that good...which meant "we" were also that good because never were any of our movements intercepted. All of the technology available to law enforcement, including INTERPOL, and it was as useless as the fucking agents who were empowered with it. One point of interest...law enforcement will never make headway on the docks, there's "operatives" at ports of entry who can smell a cop a ship's length away.

I've personally had "interactions" with Iranians and Turks, in fact, the two bros who handled all mid east interests did so in Istanbul and in a hookah den with the other parties either from Afghanistan or Lebanon, both were with the same group...but all my interactions with Iranians and (northern)Turks have been without problems. As time goes by and people get to know each other then more is revealed, moreso in character(s) and perspective(s) and what I've learned was that us and them had the same "battle in principle".

NOTE...the Afghanistan "factions" were controlled out of Lebanon separate of Hizbolla (who was still in it's infancy) and they've always been straight up and honest, it was very easy to end up dead, all that's required is to be an asshole.

After the dealing is done and everyone is back in their respective routines and Friday night comes around, our Bros congregate in a service station outside the Niagara Falls area...all the tow trucks except 2 were parked inside the station bays where they were augmented to facilitate the placement of the exotic commodity to destinations within a thousand mile range.

The best were the encounters with the police. Me and "Bubba" are in a vehicle behind one tow truck and come upon an accident scene and when stopped a cop goes up to the truck and starts jawing with the Bros and has no idea at all what's going down right under his nose...literally.

Fuck I could go on and on but my MPs are hounding me to cut it off now.
