Why wouldn’t there already be a law on the books against this? It isn’t a new and innovative criminal scam. In 50 states it could easily be classified as Fraud or Possession of a Forged Document.

Once you reach the bedroom, turn around and begin clearing the house, shouting loudly the entire time "GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOUSE", or words to that effect, for any potential witnesses to hear. If they run, let them go. Do NOT shoot them in the back. If they stand or fight back, kill them dead. You want the sole living occupant to be you.
4th, AS soon as you are sure that you are the sole remaining living occupant of the house, NOW immediately call the police to report an attempted home invasion robbery, AND your attorney.
The narrative you want on the official record is: "Officer, I was home alone in my bedroom when a group of complete strangers broke down my door and tried to rob me. Fearing for my life and safety, I used deadly force to defend myself and drive them away."
The first narrative establishes THEM as the occupants, with you on the outside trying to establish ownership of the property through the courts. In other words, a civil matter.
The second narrative establishes YOU as the victimized homeowner defending his life and property from a gang of violent criminals. In criminal matters there are TWO roles and ONLY two. The Victim, and The Suspect. You must turn it into a criminal matter and you MUST be The Victim. Because the only other role is The Suspect. Now you are the established on the official record as the homeowner AND The Victim.
