Fun shit,cobra can be quite docile if captive bred.

Cobras are one of the few poisonous snakes that don't actually use their muscles when they strike. They raise their head and they open their mouth and let it fall on whatever they're trying to strike. This is why they're kind of slow with a strike unlike a rattlesnake and other snakes.

Probably not like a dog or cat, but they definitely enjoy the warmth. I used to have a ball python that would coil around the top of my head like a snake hat and she'd stay there as long as I'd let her.

You can't train a snake to do anything, not even eat. I once fed her a small mouse, and instead of eating it she made friends with it. Damnedest thing, she hadn't eaten in two months but she'd let this mouse basically cuddle up next to her. After a couple days I took out the friend mouse and bought her a new one. She ate it immediately. Snakes are weird, man.
