Imagine you are a man that rents a big house, pays all the bills food etc. And you have 10 strangers living there also. They eat your food, pay nothing, they decide how to spend your money. Nothing you can do, they outvote you.

Moving in without your permission is called trespassing, so food wouldn't even come into it. Physically eject them if they need assistance. If you're buying them food instead of throwing them into the street (or refuse containers, as appropriate), then you've essentially established that it's okay for them to be there.
