The scary shingles commercials are a joke. I had shingles. Mildly painful. One of the very few times I've seen a doctor because I just wanted a diagnosis. It was on my back, and not something any idiot I know could see and tell with any acuity of their own sensibilities.

So got shingles. There's nothing to do but wait for it to go away and don't rub or scratch. I had chicken pox when I was a child and same thing. So what?
