Yesterday I said I posted two months ago that Bitcoin was nearing the halvening. yesterday it was $57,000. it just hit 61,000

This is my post from yesterday and it got the usual number of down votes from a couple of anti Bitcoin extremists that exist on every platform

Reminder that in the past it has often gone up 10 times around a havening and this time we have the added pressure of hundreds of millions of new dollars that are easily accessible to bitcoin through the ETFs that were just approved last month. So we now have all the major Financial houses with an easy-to-use Financial instrument for all retirement funds and consumers with regular stock market accounts Etc to invest in Bitcoin without having to learn how to buy on a Bitcoin exchange or use a Bitcoin atm. Quite frankly no one knows what the effect of that additional source of funds will be on the price but I can only believe it's going to be a tremendous new amount of money chasing Bitcoin and we've already seen evidence of that as the ETFs or rapidly buying up the loose Bitcoin that's being laid around and hitting the wall of the limited supply that is provided by the mining efforts every day.

I'd happily take bitcoins when selling my car or any other big item. Some things you have to pay using the local currency issued by Jews. You can't pay with gold or a foreign currency either. But with bitcoin one day we'll be able to skip the Jew completely, if we chose to do so.

No, btc is the beginning of the end of anything remotely resembling financial freedom/security.

The blockchain is PUBLIC.

And even with privacy coins, you are trusting the minter.

The only monetary system that does not involve trust is precious metals.

Metals ARE. When the government is clipping your coins, it's obvious, and people get pissed off very quickly. Kings are hanged over shit like that.

Everything else can be manipulated with ease by goverment/paedo-death-cult.

Yes. Metals are still the most trustworthy currency. But Bitcoin has big advantages of its own. I can grab my bugout backpack and move to the other end of the world carrying my bitcoins no questions asked. You can't do that with cash or metals.

You can, actually. The currency transport limits don't apply to precious metals, wristwatches, jewelry, and any number of other high value items.

I have personally carried over $100k of gold on a commercial flight, and have had no problems. I have done this several times.

Buy a gold Rolex, move, sell gold Rolex. I tell you the demand for gold Rolex watches is a lot higher than the demand for cryptokikecurrency.

You are also assuming that some twelve year old using an AI helper doesn't crack the encryption on the blockchain.

Crypto has about as much value as a credit card in a grid down scenario, as well. So it is effectively useless as a wealth preservation tool for SHTF.

I currently have about 2% of my net worth in crypto, and it's just to play with. I fully expect it all to go to zero at some point in the next decade.
