Well, that song was about 55 years ago, and we all have to go. I'm glad we had a it to enjoy her spirit, her beautiful voice, and how pretty she was.

America's Downtowns must have been great in the 60s because they suck now.

They actually were. In my southern California home town, there were no malls until one was built a few miles away, which took a great deal of traffic from downtown. The downtown foot traffic declined slowly for about 10 years until many of the businesses closed due to lack of customers. We even lost a Woolworth's. How badly do you have to screw up to lose a Woolworth's when the entire chain was still doing great?
