Enoch Powell joined the British Army as a private in 1939 and had by 1945 risen to the rank of Brigadier, while for all of his "Rivers of Blood" diction he did not at any time take the battle up to the Jews, who were behind the influx of black "immigrants" he was going crook about in the first place .. controlled opposition is all, maybe if he had "named the Jews" he woulda stayed a private.
