Do you not know what emulation is?

That’s what the video is (mockingly) describing without context. Apple has recently released a stop-gap developer framework that allows companies to port their windows games to Mac without writing any new code. But because this process is basically just emulation (it encapsulates the executable and all other files and just translates it into Mac frameworks) you run into the same performance problems seen with emulation across processor architectures on all other platforms. Think game consoles emulating on PC, for example.

Native games run fairly well. Mid-range PC hardware and native Mac games (on a regular M3) are nearly indistinguishable at the same settings.
