Good advice at any age.

You’ll never find a motorcycle parked in front of a therapist's office.

[ - ] bossman131 1 point 2 monthsFeb 23, 2024 13:39:15 ago (+1/-0)

Does a Can Am Spyder count as a motorcycle?

[ - ] Clubberlang 0 points 2 monthsFeb 23, 2024 20:48:49 ago (+0/-0)

No that's the tranny version of a Harley.

Best advice is to stop being a little bitch

[ - ] Clubberlang 0 points 2 monthsFeb 23, 2024 20:49:17 ago (+1/-1)

You should take your own advice.

People have the most clueless beliefs about therapy. If there were something wrong with their vehicle instead:

"Bro, I've considered trying 'auto repair', but I've heard it doesn't work."

My meatsuit needs a tuneup...gotta go stomp on the throttle for a bit!

The 2 professions jews have always had an overwhelming presence in is being doctors and being psychiatrists.

[ - ] NuckFiggers 2 points 2 monthsFeb 23, 2024 22:53:42 ago (+2/-0)

It's also made me hate almost everyone.

I doubt I'd be Mr. Lovable without it but getting in shape and seeing a world of worthless fat shits around you make you hate a whole lot more.

[ - ] NoRefunds 3 points 2 monthsFeb 23, 2024 09:57:23 ago (+3/-0)

Therapists are scammer retards that don't know jack shit yet pretend to, like nurses and veterinarians

[ - ] bobdole9 [op] 1 point 2 monthsFeb 23, 2024 10:40:32 ago (+1/-0)

nods and smiles

How did that make you feel?

Repeat for 50 minutes for as long as you're dumb enough to come back.

When you can deadlift 400 lbs for reps strangers open doors for you.

Unless you're abusing/ misusing 'recreational' drugs. Or suffering from an undiagnosed TBI.
' Mirra fell 16 feet from a ramp on to his head, crashing so hard he lacerated his liver. A few years later, at a Dew Tour event in Chicago, he fell 14 feet to the bottom of the ramp, momentarily losing consciousness. He later said it was one of the worst slams of his career, but he competed in the finals anyway, even though he “felt out of it....... “We ride until we crash,” says Mirra’s friend Mat Hofman, who by his own count has had over 100 concussions. “That’s just the nature of the sport.”

[ - ] Clubberlang 1 point 2 monthsFeb 23, 2024 20:52:12 ago (+1/-0)

I've noticed people walk around me now.

It's either that or my balls are hangin out of my shorts.

Either way I've noticed one of the above.

[ - ] dassar 0 points 2 monthsFeb 23, 2024 21:47:35 ago (+0/-0)

'Or maybe, just maybe it might be the splatter of jizz over your t-shirt front or the uninhibited fecal leakage from the back??. sorry JK :)

[ - ] Clubberlang 0 points 2 monthsFeb 23, 2024 22:24:01 ago (+0/-0)

I dont get that excited when I'm at the gym.

Are you speaking from experience?

Your sentence seems oddly specific.

[ - ] con77 0 points 2 monthsFeb 24, 2024 12:46:54 ago (+0/-0)

I had a good buddy that used to pull this joke in Beach bars. He'd pull his ball sack out the leg of his shorts and say " oh look! I sat in gum!".
He was a funny mother fucker.

[ - ] PhantomXLII 0 points 2 monthsFeb 23, 2024 14:00:36 ago (+0/-0)

Which would bother me to no end...

I wish I had a bar and power rack/cage. All I've got right now is a Marcy MWM980 machine thing and it just ain't the same. Tears up my right shoulder doing chest press too. The handles just don't sit right for how I'm built I guess. Never had a problem benching with a bar.

[ - ] dassar 1 point 2 monthsFeb 23, 2024 15:43:18 ago (+1/-0)

Yep, i just purchased a cheap bench.
Was doing simple barbell/ dumbell routine and substituting for the bench work. Ytube is fantastic for finding different knowledge and how to videos.

[ - ] PhantomXLII 1 point 2 monthsFeb 23, 2024 15:49:40 ago (+1/-0)

Yup. Greg Doucette, Athlean-X guy, Sean Nalewanyj (straight up kind of guy), Jeff Nippard, and some of the Renaissance Periodization jewish guy. Watch all their stuff, and you'll be pretty well rounded in your knowledge of lifting, what to do, why do it what way, and all that.

[ - ] PotatoWhisperer2 0 points 2 monthsFeb 23, 2024 16:23:41 ago (+0/-0)

That's what I do. 99% of those machine won't fit in my basement(78"H), so I do it all with a bench and regular weights and resistance bands.

[ - ] dassar 0 points 2 monthsFeb 23, 2024 21:40:18 ago (+0/-0)

Haha, yes, periodically watch all of them - great for getting different insights and application of technique/ focus during the actual movement/ exercise - esp for myself, just seeing it being performed helps me alot (rather than trying to parse out the subtle/ hidden intricacies for a movement from a written book or manual).

[ - ] bobdole9 [op] 0 points 2 monthsFeb 23, 2024 18:29:17 ago (+0/-0)

If you have the space and funds, I enjoy the MD-9010G.

[ - ] PhantomXLII 0 points 2 monthsFeb 23, 2024 21:55:35 ago (+0/-0)

Smith machine? Only problem with that idea is I'd rather have a free range of motion. Smith machines have the same problem as the machine I'm using now. It's one set path, and no, absolutely zero, deviation. That's not how bodies move. Now, I haven't ever used a smith machine, but I would think things like deadlifts and bench pressing would be... "Interesting".

[ - ] bobdole9 [op] 0 points 2 monthsFeb 23, 2024 23:08:13 ago (+0/-0)

It has attachments so you can use a bar on the front. Not as safe as a regular rack, but it can be used like a conventional bench.

Shoulder shrugs are nice on the smith bar. Overhead pulleys for lat bars and triceps extensions...trying to make some sort of chestplate where seated rows aren't annoying.

I used to leg press 400 lbs in high school. I was about 90 lbs.

[ - ] PeckerwoodPerry 3 points 2 monthsFeb 23, 2024 08:15:23 ago (+3/-0)

Whatever happened to mrpim? Ain't seen him around in a while.

[ - ] bobdole9 [op] 1 point 2 monthsFeb 23, 2024 10:44:16 ago (+1/-0)

Hoping he still lurks around...seasonal depression season for the northerners may not encourage unprovoked conversation.

[ - ] UncleDoug 1 point 2 monthsFeb 24, 2024 01:36:33 ago (+1/-0)

Depression doesn’t exist, anon is describing poor life satisfaction.

No goals, no significant life partner/wife, lack of finances, insecurity regarding future, poor career prospects, minimal drive due to dejection, entropy in all facets of life including health and excessive poor habits.

Depression is what you have when you achieve success and compare yourself to others.
Lack of satisfaction and depression can be an initial driving force to success.
Anon is just getting beaten by jew world order, we have all been there.

[ - ] GreenSaint 1 point 2 monthsFeb 23, 2024 19:27:03 ago (+1/-0)

Iv been forced to go to therapy a few times (therapy or jail) you know what actually works? Exercise. Feeling depressed? I know. I got it. It’s a like a demon that will never leave. Beat your own ass at the gym and that little pussy demon will be too scared to confront you

Is there a fitness group here I can join? I could use the help motivating myself.

$1000 will get you all you need.

A bar and 300lbs of weight as well as a simple power rack/cage.

[ - ] PotatoWhisperer2 1 point 2 monthsFeb 23, 2024 16:24:46 ago (+1/-0)

You can even build it up piece by piece every month.

[ - ] bobdole9 [op] 0 points 2 monthsFeb 23, 2024 18:23:47 ago (+0/-0)

It's what I've been doing since COVID shut gyms. For the best to avoid dipshittery and watching small children.

This year's purchase was a Precor AMT 835 secondhand.
