If it can subvert my expectations I'll probably like it. Most modern movies are awful because I have an expectation of what will happen and then happens like that, which sucks. What's the point of watching if you already know what will happen?

Fantasy like superhero movies don't resonate with me. No superpowers count until they do which negates the purpose of the powers.

Crime and mystery usually bore me and I just don't care.

I've beent thinking to look into slice of life stuff. What is really like to see is a main focus on slice of life with a weak secondary genre like comedy or action
