Thing about laws re genome editting. As soon as you make a law against it, you set up a black market for it.

There are what, 150 countries? Only 1 has to obey US law, and not all of them have to obey international law.

I agree that the bulk will likely be taking place where the accountability can be denied (and costs cut), but I would be astonished if it wasn’t also happening in all western countries too. Just because they can.
