Interesting if complicated premise for an anime, but seriously, why do they not have an expert consultant? A number of things about the series have been naggingly incorrect, and the latest episode shows a tracheotomy being performed in a way that would kill the patient. Yeah, right now I'm mostly watching it for the fails.

There's "not realistic", and there's "if someone's choking I can just slit their throats and be a hero".

I know what you mean. When an anime tries to be realistic in some aspects, with teachable moments, but miss their mark. Or like what you describe are just plain wrong. It's quite annoying.
