Affordability requires thinging out of the box. Shuttered commercial spaces can be converted to residential with a little work, and these things are very roomy.

My mom lives in an old pizza restaurant .You wouldnt think it but its actually pretty nice also under 2 a month. The guy was going to rip out the display counter but she asked him to keep it in and it works perfectly for holidays.
