I think blood only stays "good" like 30 days in the freezer. If it was like 6 months, I would make an appointment with a phlebotomist to store my own blood at home.

I used to donate blood. They gave you a day off for it!

Then they gave you a half-day. Then that half-day was at their discretion. Then they gave you a half-day chit, that had to be run up the chain of command with a bevy of paperwork to follow it, that all had to be signed by a dozen different officers. Then, it always got "lost" somewhere.

Then they just gave you a cookie and told you to get back to fucking work.

People were leaving the military in droves well before Obomba.
