A lot of people DID put away money, expecting that to augment the amount they get from social security. I'm not sure what your beef is. They DID actually pay into it. Are you saying they should walk away from that?

Yes, that's correct. And we have no choice in paying into social security. I think it's fair that we get it back along with a fair return for the use of the money. So boomers are asking for either their money back or to receive their "benefits"? Yeah, what a lotta shitbags.
On the one hand, social security was never a good idea and was always socialist wealth redistribution from young workers to old non-workers.
