Either way the forced recruiting on either side is silly. I'm convinced untrained infantry have zero value for even a foot of territory. It really is just an act of rounding people up to be murdered by machines with no strategic benefit.

Ukraine says they need military supplies. Every person they throw into battle had more value in a factory working for several months than dead before they even see an enemy. When Ukraine is willing to sacrifice their actual strategic interests in favor of killing more of their own people you know this doesn't make sense.

I don't think its the primary concern but you can bet your ass they have officers researching what work and what does not in non-desert relatively first world theater. Expect to be fighting .gov drones for the most part. Shotguns and good hearing are the best low-tech defense at the moment.

I absolutely do not consume any news from any source with the exception of what gets posted here and I only get on here once or twice a day for a few minutes. So this Ukraine shot is still a thing? Yes. The Ukrainians were forced to retreat from Avdiivka. Russia captured it, and literally had them surrounded.

Ukraine has seen drones used on an entirely different level. "Agricultural Drones" used to disperse Biological-Chemical weapons, and drones used to pin-point drop weapons from anti-tank munitions down to anti-personal grenades.

We've never seen shit like this before. Drone swarms intentionally blowing the off the limbs of infantry before going for actual kill shots.

There are videos of injured, 100% immobilized infantry being toyed with for hours. So much so that they are finishing themselves off with their own rifles, and grenades.
