Yea, Reportedly the so-called elite Azov brigade (renamed/ reconstituted after the Mariupol encirclement as 3rd Assault) were moved in to counter attack and hold open the escape route - they got their shit all pushed and lost some 600 men the first night and then said 'nope, were leaving' on the second night meaning all the original guys had no cover and had to attempt to walk out at night and suffered something like 70% causalities - the lucky guys are those that stayed and surrendered to Russia.
Russia is bringing ukraine some good old fashioned US-style democracy and freedom.

Which was just a panicked mob stampeding through a narrow corridor.
