Color me a retarded skeptic, but it seems like autism is a suitcase they can throw just about every difficult behavioral cluster into. I honestly don't know, but being highly disagreeable, assertive in the face of a challenge, and rapping hostile lyrics in the face of your gangster-looking nigger opponent doesn't strike me as classic autism. Again, is this a category we can shove all social retardation into? And like arguments from free will, how much does autism purchase people in social life? Put this same kid in a situation where he is sexually assaulting my wife, and suddenly I couldn't give a fuck whether or not he is autistic. A problem is a problem. Fucking people need to understand that a rabid chimp turns hostile if you mimic their behavior...the best chimp deterrent is a 158grn HP projectile in .357" caliber...fuck the 9mm, or .40 or .45, .44mag is too hollywood and messy...besides, the .357 has an "angelic" sound to it and chimps really calm down when the music begins...oh yeah, the shorter the barrel the louder the "music", plus an added light show from the (muzzie)"flash"...(muzzel flash for all those who don't recognize levity)

I agree that .357 is a great middle ground woods round, but carrying around revolvers in the concrete jungle is pase.

Good loads of .357 range between 500-600ft-lbs of energy from a 6"bbl, with usually only moderate recoil. That was great for a long time and still is fine for woods, but I'd prefer something with more capacity when dealing with pavement apes. Modern loadouts for those centerfire caliburs can almost reach parity; some of which break into 500ft-lb realm.

This is all semantics anyway. You once told me about your reloading and I know that you know a good deal more than me about ballistics, but it's a fun practicality debate in any case.

I'd say if you want "flashy" with concussive fireball, good ballistics and capacity, then .357SIG is often overlooked. I like and carry a Glock 32 from time to time, but in terms of energy and general ballistics, .357S&W it ain't... it's more akin to a +p++ 9mm rd from a necked-down .40S&W parent case (because that's exactly what it is). It has the bark, and almost the same bite as your "angelic" music, at over twice the capacity.

@MuricaPersonified...I like your reply, just as a point of interest, I find that experienced gun owners seem to have a higher level of intelligence and are actually quite well learned about a lot of things as well as good communication skills...when defining a "shock wave" to someone every word is technical...unlike the "gamer crowd" that's stuck on the word "awesome".

I love my S&W 360PD (the noisy cricket) light weight easy to carry but a massive punch and a bark to match. I used to carry speer gold dot 135 short barrel ammo in it before it was lost in that boating accident.

My Model 686 S&W 357mag with it's light weight and 7rnd cylinder would be the "go to piece" if I had to make a quick choice...it's slender profile and smooth framework makes it easy to wear, plus 7rnds of punch that ensure severe damage up to 120yrds and with a stable flat trajectory but when I fuck around with "hot loads", either .357 or .44mag, I use my Rugers...Ruger has a higher structural rating of all models, Browning and Glock are bottom (based upon personal experiences)...but generally I'm packing a 9mm Mdl 1911 Ruger...but Semi Autos don't like extreme cold, regardless of how clean and free of residue they are, you can hold that trigger tight to the guard frame all you want but the hammer just won't release with the force required to drive the fire pin, which is further constricted inside a tunnel that itself is reduced in diameter through cold contraction...cold weather contraction is potentially a fatal problem when hunting polar bear.
