Sneako's just discovered what it means to have your ego pulled out of you, torn up, set on fire, and laughed at in front of everyone that matters before being stuffed back into your mouth, ashes of who you thought you were.
It's up to him to decide to rebuild himself or fold. A beating that bad can really change a person's mind. People are talking shit like "Oh, Sneako didn't even fall over, he's so tough"- he was out on his feet and eating a series of left hooks that almost certainly changed him forever. Just because his body remained upright doesn't mean his brains aren't fucking scrambled.
A fighter who is truly proficient at his craft can immediately gauge the ability and training level of an opponent in the first few seconds just by the way they move.
A Man who is confident in his ability to dominate the engagement can make an opponent look foolish with minimal effort.
Was Sneako mistaken to get in the ring with Strickland? Most definitely.
But not because of the difference in ability.
But for the same reason you never interact with or challenge any violent psychopath asshole's ego unless you are prepared to kill him. Because he would enjoy killing you given the chance.
Every single person I've ever known who was "top tier" at combat sports were total fucking savage assholes. The most common thing you'd hear them say is shit like "I like to hurt people".
Don't step in with these kind of people unless you're willing to get tagged. I would say this "influencer" never really got what he asked for, as this Strickland fellow was WAAAAAY nicer than I've seen some of these kind of media "sparring sessions" go.
I wouldn't even say Chad ... he could have and should have smashed that creep. It's going to get him hurt eventually because most of these people are out to hurt. One day soon it will not be so fun.
