This 2.7 degree figure , covering February 2023 through January 2024, was taken in comparison to temperatures from the preindustrial period, the era that ended around 1900.
Taken in comparison to temps in a period that ended around 1900.
1. How were the temps prior to 1900 ascertained? I know. Do you?
2. What was the margin of error for average global temps in 1900? Any idea? What if I told you it was much greater than 2.7 degrees?
3. Why was current day temps taken using land based weather stations instead of the far more accurate satellite measurements? I know. Do you?
And while the story looks like there is a link to the report, there isn't. Can you find that link for me? I'm lazy.
Some have come true, including ExxonMobil's decades-old projections about the role of fossil fuels in global warming.
Are oil companies evil or good, I can't remember. It certainly seems like they are supporting the climate change agenda. Do you know why? I do.
Others have not, like Paul Ehrlich's 1970 prediction that 100 to 200 million people per year would starve to death by 1980.
The same Paul Ehrlicht that said we would have a mini ice age by 2000? Yup.
We are touching 1.5C and we see the cost, the social costs and economic costs,' Johan Rockstrom of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research told AFP.
Which is it? 2.7 or 1.5? Either way, what about that margin of error thing when comparing temps from 1900?
And some of the science remains uncertain, with a recent study on sea sponges suggesting that the Earth actually already passed the 2.7-degree threshold - four years ago.
Well there is no turning back now according to all the oil money funded NPCs then, may aswell live our last few decades on earth with steaks and oversea travling.

Even more than 2.7? Lol.
