I was just on the train and witnessed a negro eating a whole pineapple as if it were an orange. He had tossed the stem across the aisle at the opposite door and had begun to peel off quarter-sized pieces of the husk or whatever and eat what he could get at underneath.

One of the funniest things I saw in my life was a niglet riding a (probably stolen) bike no-handed, while chomping on a quarter wedge of watermelon. He takes one last bite, raises the rest over his head, slams it on the ground, and continues on with his nigging.

I still can't put a finger on why it was so funny, maybe I was just stoned or something, but it was unforgettable.
