It's good he did it but his life is also over now and it wasn't worth it.

It's going to be unpopular here but we were a nation built on laws and this man with enough gusto and big enough stones to take down a pedophile could've done more with a different approach. Now he's going to prison over flushing a shit down the toilet.

A hero today. The headlines fade, the newsreel scrolls down. 3 weeks from now you're forgotten but you're in jail for 25 to life... over a pedophile.

Unfortunately, the law punishes those who act outside of it with harsher treatment than those within. The pedophile gets 2 years, the enforcer gets life.

If they nullify his charges they would put themselves and their friends at risk of being murdered.

Hopefully this has a chilling effect on others as well.
