You think Aussies are better or more articulate than the British? The look at Americans and see a bunch of undereducated but still fairly intelligent boobs and hicks. They see Aussies and see a bunch of sheep shaggers with accents that are painful to listen to.

As for Yanks...we seem them as over-fed, over-loud but...we like them and want them over-here (to defend Aus).

Right, the whole "overpaid, over-sexed, and over here" complaint. Your men used to have a reputation for obnoxiousness back in the 70s and 80s. I've talked to a number of service men who said that Australian women loved it when the Yanks showed up, because they wouldn't have to deal with the absolute arseholes the men there were.

I guess that's not a problem any longer. It seems Australian men have been neutered and pussified and Australian women are fat, man-hating feminists who don't give a shit about men any longer.

And what's this about "defending Australia"? You used to have a fierce military who would take considerable exception to the idea that they needed the Yanks.

Seems true. The Yanks had lots of money and spoilt our star-struck sheilas with presents plus the Yanks were undoubtedly more sophisticated. Our somewhat backward lads couldn't compete.
