I'd seen him have to confront hostile men twice that I can remember, and I remember feeling PROUD and SAFE after seeing the way he handled it. That's your duty as a father- mine had the traits that allowed him to muscle through those situations. If you don't, you can still handle situations in a way that you come out safe and impressing upon your child that they are safe with your protection. Maybe you can talk your way through a confrontation, whatever it is, your child should respect you and know that you are capable of using extreme violence to protect you, if the need arises.

The sad thing is, I did nothing to his dad. He came up and started fucking with me in the middle of a concert. My dad was a big guy and he told me about a situation when he worked in Manhattan many years ago and two niggers were setting him up to be mugged by trapping him in a revolving door. Unfortunately, he's not race aware but at least he knew enough to see what was happening and intimidated them so they backed the fuck down.
He did defend me once at a water park when a fat fuck was slowing himself down on the slide and me, a little kid, was going to ram right into him. I yelled at him to move and he told me to stop, which was impossible. My feet rammed right into his kidneys and when I came up from the pool I saw this fatass grown adult coming after a little kid. My dad sprang into action and told him to back the fuck off.
Of course, then he asked me why I did that to the guy because he always thought I was to blame.
