I kill coons and none have played opossum on me...97.3% of the time either their lungs are dripping through the exit wound or their brains are spattered all over my deck...

Clearly redditard didn't use and likely doesn't own a problem solver.

I had a big gang of those coon bastards start coming in and destroy my bird feeder. It didn't matter how many I shot and kilt they would still come back and bring more with them. I went on a rampage. I even have deer eating out of my bird feeder. Its like crack. Fuckin squirrels, around 5-6, go round and round on the tree chasing each other fighting over my bird feed. I even have some flying squirrels getting in on the action. Crows come in around 9:30-10 am every day to get their daily dose of crack. I sit in my chair out in the living room and watch all this crazy shit go down and its funny! Coons are the only ones who really pissed me off because they broke the feeder and I had to make a new one.

@HonkyMcetc...you've almost paralleled everything I do here except that I have a few more animals such as bears and timber wolves...my bears are in hibernation right now but the timber wolves are hanging close to the deer herd...I get the odd moose that strolls in but given the easy winter the wolves can't get near them and they've plenty to eat so they just stick their "yarding area" which is a few miles deep in the bush from where I am...the coyotes were a real menace to the deer, and neighborhood cats and dogs, but when the timbers move in the coyotes fuck right off...the wolves don't bother us, fuck I've had them walk with me tails down with the odd wave side to side, meaning they're comfortable and zero threat, I'm armed all the time anyways but I don't want to ever have to shoot them but the fucking coyotes get lead, I've been circled a few times by them but I think they can sense when they're beat before trying, I'm certain that they know what a threat a firearm is to them as they've seen enough of their pack buddies bleed out from ear and neck shots....as for the fucking coons, I kill every fucking one of them.

That would be a trip to walk with wolves like that. They are majestic creatures. We don't have those here but have plenty of coyotes and get bounty for them. I kill everyone I see. Black bears generally stay away but once in a while one will get stupid. I had one pick up my garbage bin and walk down the road with it. I was walking behind him (armed to the teeth) scolding him "GTFO here you black sumbitch!!". He finally dropped it and ran off. Never been around Moose but I'd be leary of those things. I don't want no part of those beasts. My uncle used to hunt them. He had a cabin in Canada back in the day and would go up a couple times a year with his buddies on a drinking/doping/hunting darn good fishin' trip! lol I went a couple times when I was young but didn't hunt. I fished.

Everyone telling him to get a rabies shot. Meanwhile rabies might as well not be real with how rare it is. Like four people in history have gotten rabies and everyone is worried about it.

[ - ] o0shad0o 1 point 1.3 yearsFeb 1, 2024 18:34:33 ago (+1/-0)

It pops up now and again, and is rare nowadays because people get prophylactic rabies shots when bitten. And with how horrific the results are if you come down with it... Yeahhh, I'll take the shots.

[ - ] PotatoWhisperer2 0 points 1.3 yearsFeb 1, 2024 18:46:16 ago (+0/-0)

With a 99.9999999% death rate, I'll take the shot. That being said, I don't go pick up comatose wild animals with my bare hands either.

Never mind the mortality rate, look up the symptoms that show up before you die. shudder

Just pop it in the head with a .22 works very well

Rabies.
Pretty much a guarantee in a lethargic raccoon.

[ - ] GreenSaint 1 point 1.3 yearsFeb 1, 2024 14:06:41 ago (+1/-0)

I feed the raccoons near me all my leftovers

City kids don't understand the multiple purposes for shovels.

Dealing with (possibly) dead animals is a top five use.

[ - ] Nosferatjew 2 points 1.3 yearsFeb 1, 2024 12:09:04 ago (+2/-0)

Flat head shovel is #1 use for some live animals.

Bludgeon and chop makes the bad things stay away.

Entrenchment while you hold down the local McDonald's and keep it from the wagies and consoomers is the No. 1 use of a shovel. Dig a foxhole, fix your bayonet, and prepare.

[ - ] bobdole9 0 points 1.3 yearsFeb 1, 2024 13:42:06 ago (+0/-0)

I'd go French and use farm equipment to rip up concrete and give McDonald's a moat.
