I've had tinnitus all my life.

I thought everyone could hear the "sound behind the silence".

meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep

idk why people call it "ringing in the ears" it sounds more like a sustained electric beep at a very high pitch.

I sometimes ponder if that is the sound of the entire world, irritating the shit out of me.

I believe it's the sound of electricity. Each power outage the "meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" sound is gone or I don't seem to notice it anymore.

To me it sounds like the high-pitched whine of a jet engine from a distance.

I remember sitting in traffic one time with my windows down not paying attention and all these loud ass motorcycles went by in the other direction. Hurt my ears so bad. Then exactly 24 hours later I was lying in bed and my ears started ringing

heard rumors that the uptick and modern prevalence of tinnitus is due to navy submarine ultra-low-frequency communications systems.

They are magic runes that move when you try to read them.

Floaters do become more common as you get older. They're bits of tissue shed from around the retina. They're more common if you're strongly near-sighted or far-sighted because it means your eye socket is essentially massaging your eyeball as you turn your eye. Even so, if you have a lot of floaters make sure you go to a good optometrist every couple years (or when you get a new eyeglass prescription) because they can be a sign of other issues.

Have the floaters, was told that's part of you from birth.

I enjoy trying to "focus" on the floaters...even though that's not how it works.

You ever look at pineapple on a micro scale? It’s got shards n shit in it. It’s fine but it doesn’t look fine when you see it.
