We got a metal spatula, mom called it her spat. My brother and I are about the same age and shared a room. Bed time came and we'd always stay up talking and shit, so mom would come in and make us sleepy with that spat. One night we got the bright idea to put on ten pairs of underwear, thought that was really smart. Real smart until my mom noticed my brother taking his licks and laughing about it. Fuckin big mistake. It was bare ass after that episode.

Another punishment we'd get was quite a bit darker. Sometimes if we were particularly bad, my mom would make us kneel in a corner of the kitchen, on tile, and pray to Jesus to forgive us. She told us every time we broke the fourth commandment we were putting another thorn in Jesus's head. That's a fucked up thing to put on an eight year old. And she wonders why I'm not a Christian.

Yeah, I posted it without listening to it first, The Foo Fighters were generally a pretty good band, so I didn't worry about it. It really wasn't that good. I'll remove it in a bit. How was the burger? It looked REALLY good.

You know, everyone was ragging about searing the meat and cooking the veggies separately and all that. I know what the fuck I’m doing and I really just wanted a more savory type piece of meat. It turned out great! I could have thrown it on the bbq, but sometimes I just do different stuff.

I don't really give a shit what kind of pans you use or how your burger is cooked, it's more about whipping shit, and getting it right back. My mom used to buy us those wooden paddle balls, and when the rubber string would break and we'd discard them,, she'd save them all and then glue a bunch together. I would have preferred the spoon.

My grandma bitch, who I just found out today was irish scottish welsh used to use her hand like it was a baseball bat. she was always trying to get me to learn chores but instead I learned to stay the hell away from her, and her fucking arm hammer. Sharp card player and good sense of humor.
