I can testify that most "reasons" for taking aby stance are just there to make the irrational opinions of the believers seem rational by providing AN argument for their position, doesn't have to be good enough to stand up to even the slightest scrutiny, just that an argument exists for it at all is enough to give these dimwits the pretense to claim that their views come from some sort of reasoning rather than just being based upon their gut feelings (which is the truth of the matter).
