I played Division III Rugby last year (switched between the 11 & 14 position). I was an old dog, but it was a blast knocking it out with the yooths (35~45). That's how I learned about Calcio Storico, I learned that it's many generations old, and it's 4 towns in Italy and they try to move a ball into goals along the back walls. I thought Rugby was gritty, those guys beat the fuck out of each other. And there's some weird part where once a man is down, a member of the opposing team, JUST SITS ON THEM! I never figured out what it was that allowed them to get up and rejoin the game. I love to see it in person.
