Well,we don't really know who Josie is or what the significance of her being on vacation is. We can only assume. However,if we go with the general idea that Josie is his wife/girlfriend,then she's probably cheating on him since she's going on vacation alone. And that usually means cheating. So I'd say their marriage is basically all over so it doesn't really matter he's nailing some other chick.
