Imagine being so jewed that you vape at all.

My father is on the brink of death because of cigarettes. Late stage COPD. Literally in the hospital right now with fluid in his lungs and all he wants or cares about is having another cigarette.

Which is why misinformation on vapes pisses me off. He's beyond saving but it's a good way for people to quit who want to, and it's a good way for curious non-smokers to avoid picking up a cigarette in the first place.

Why go to the gym goy? When you could inhale a tarlaced lung dart?

I've know people over 50 who died of lung cancer and never smoked in their lives and never lived with smokers.

My Father also smoked three packs a day for over 65 years. He died in his sleep in his 80's - zero smoking related issues.
I am more concerned with the over 600 additives cigarette manufacture are 'legally' able to add to the tobacco during manufacture.

I can find zero clinical study material for health effects of long term tobacco/ nicotine use of just natural tobacco (leaf) without the multiplicity of carcinogenic/ toxic cancer causing additives.

It has a lot of uses. It's also in a lot of food, medicine and cosmetics. In vaping it can be avoided if you care about it. It's main purpose is to thin the juice and it adds a nice feeling to the "smoke".

After a decade+ my lungs are clean. My breathing is great. How much longer till it fucks me up?

That is bullshit. Acetone being in vapes stems from black market THC vapes. Some flavors used in vape juice can have acetoin, which is not acetone.


Vape juice is consists of the 3 ingredients I listed plus flavoring. What's in the flavoring is questionable. From my experience any health effects from flavors are negligible, especially when compared to cigarettes. It's not a healthy activity. But it's not nearly as bad as cigarettes are. Not in the same ball park.


Again, you seem confused. Diethylene glycol is not used in vapes and would be unusual. Propylene glycol is common in vape juice however.


I make my own stuff and a lot of the times the 3 ingredients is all I am vaping. I use flavor sparingly. That's the only area you can make wild claims about. Flavors containing diacetyl and aetylpropionyl should be avoided. Most manufacturers have stopped using them. Don't buy vape juice from china.

I haven't done it in years, but when I made vape juice it used 3 things.
Vegetable glycerin
Propylene glycol
And food flavorings from LorAnn Oils. The Cherry one for example lists these ingredients: alcohol, propylene glycol, artificial flavor, water, red 40, blue 1. (looking back, vaping something with Red 40 in it probably wasn't the best idea)

I didn't put nicotine in mine, because I vaped like smoking a tobacco pipe, just drawing the smoke into my mouth for the flavor, then blowing it out. The worst things in the juice were likely the food colorings, and then only if you were unlucky to be allergic to them.

That said, it's pretty stupid to inhale anything into your lungs besides air. You're just asking for trouble if you do it.
