Ever been there, Alaska is a shithole filled with low IQ inbred igloo niggers and a large percentage of the White's are drug addicts and alcoholics. It's not that great of a place OP.
That resident dividend was 3k last year I believe. Known a few drugged out guys who went there to "work hard, get straight, save money" just ended up with more expensive drug habits.
Actually, I don't think I've known a single really good tradesman who has gone up there. Just malingerers, wannabes, never could have beens and the drug fucked.

Juneau, Kodiak, Nome, all through the Aleutian islands and been to the Arctic. Saw a typhoon in January with 55 ft seas.
