Okay, yeah. I am still here... but the canal is fucked and I can't even get through there, even if I pay to have my boat hauled on the deck of some big ship. That would cost a fortune, and would still probably involve all sorts of other robbery.

I was never a fan of grits except as a small side dish for breakfast, but hey, I'm up for anything. Grits can be kind of bland by itself, though. Tell us about how you prepare the shrimp and what you have with the grits to provide flavor.

I pack them full of brown sugar and pepper jack cheese. It's supposed to be 4:1 water to grits but if you sub bone broth for water that'll stick to the ribs for a day longer.
