I gave up and paid $13.99 a month for JewTubePlus.
There are a variety of ways to implement ad blocks. Watching youtube in a browser that has adblock plugins is the easiest way for most people.
The best way is to run the adblock at your router so that every device on your network has their ads blocked without the apps and browsers really being aware.
