Nah. At that point you are fucked if you are alone.

What you need is someone to flank with a bolt action 30-06. Preferably several friends at several vantage points.

With the gear they have, or rather don't, you would be better off with some type of gas and a respirator.

Even an uparmored truck would be far, far more effective than one guy with an AR and big magazines.

Far more realistic is to not engage on someone else's terms. You slip out the tunnel then go from there.

Better to have a tunnel and not need it. In that situation though, porch claymores and aerosol clouds of gasoline misters are your friends.

Suppression comes from the friend you are helping. The 30-06 is for killing, one by one, from a different vantage point(forcing them to take fire from one or another direction), until there aren't enough left to do anything. More friends = more betterer.

Eh? Why would you want shitty rifles vs modern ones. Even a garand would fair far better than bolt action, and there are so many choices. I have my seekins in 6.5 creedmoor with 25 round mags and a 6-24X50 optic. It's 16 lbs, have a fat muzzle brake on it and has basically no recoil when proned out.
