I want to send someone money, charity, and don't want them to know its me. Before stuffing money in an envelope and mailing it, is there a better way to send the money to make sure they get it? Anonymous check? Anonymous money order? Some way that if they don't "cash the anonymous check" I don't lose the money?
Talk to neighbors and have them give a gift on behalf of the entire neighborhood - helping out a neighbor in time of need because [insert reason here]. Give them a smaller cash gift and ask to remain anonymous. They don’t have to know about your rocky relationship with whoever you want to help.
As a bonus, whoever you want to help will become part of a revitalized community.
money order is exchanged for cash, you dont get the money back unless you have the money order (you can refund them, if you have the physical money order but you wont unless they sent it back)
They may ask for ID when purchasing the money order as well, walmart does. The government uses extremism and fake news to promote the idea that anonymously transferring currency is evil (only they can do it). The truth is moving currency is power, and they have power, you keep your peasant hands off.
You will find it is fantastically difficult to truly have, spend or get any form of currency without a trail leading to you, often by law. Crypto exists, but good luck unless you do inperson meet for cash, and who the fuck would even want that.
A postal money order will be refunded after some number of months of not being cashed. I forget the number of months though. You could probably ask them for details or look it up.
