I notice the article doesn't mention which union forced the CSU workers to strike. Unions should be illegal for public sector workers. The union is standing firm for a 12% pay hike, while the CSU says it's firm on 5%. For fuck sake, the rest of the country, if they're lucky can hope for a 5% cost of living increase.
I think anyone attending a California university right now is wasting his or her time and money, and I'd feel sorry for them, except they deserve what they get for participating in a socialist-dominated educational process where they're not learning anything close to what they're paying for. Fuck the union, and fuck the stupid students.
