Jobs should be negotiated in units of gold. Any long term contract should. Back in the day 100 year bonds existed because companies and people felt confident about the long term value of future dollar exchanges. But now that doesn't exist. Any long term agreement is essentially a bond and the window in which we can make confident deals with each other is narrowing and narrowing to the point that we can't even take jobs without worry of getting screwed over.

The alternative is to be your own boss and have cycling customers you can charge whatever you want to keep up with the market. But that is really to say to have more short term relationships. There is utility in long term relationships existing in a market and you can't have them, sustainably, if they are negotiated in dollars.

In a way the quality of a market is limited to the quality of the relationships in it. To have forward thinking capital investment you need certainty in the future and the relationships in it. Big things don't happen in a day. And big things need people cooperating, at scale, and over a long time. This is more true in the B2B part of the market than employment. But if we can't even do employment anymore then on the B2B side you know the market is becoming more fragmented and less integrated.

I used to be an EMT and 99.9% of calls are completely fucking unnecessary. You go help a drug addict or drunk passing out or walked through a window or some stupid fucking bullshit. They all know it's bad for them, they all know they should stop. They've heard it tens of thousands of time but they don't give a shit. Now thousands of people get inconvenienced with an ambulance plowing through traffic and a siren that annoys but isn't really necessary. Most of the calls are due to fat fucks who know even more that they are disgusting pigs but they care about annoying people and taking taxpayer money even less. All of these people should be dead but we keep them going like zombies, sucking up public funds, people's tolerance and time just for their miserable fucking lives that they don't deserve anyway.

There is also the fraction of calls for events that don't need an ambulance like stubbing your toe or tasting something funny. Those are always niggers and spics.
