When I put in the tree I didn't have any expectations it would bear fruit (SEAus) but it has - seemingly every alternate year. Certainly not a bumper crop - three the best harvest so far - but beautifully formed and no fruit fly and delicious. This year is shaping up as the best harvest yet - maybe seven.

Birds and possums are the biggest threats. Possums are like climbing bulldozers. So far fruit-fly has not infected my mangoes but they zero on in plums.
