I really wonder what happened to him. He was certainly an acquired taste, but once you saw through his bullshit, he could be a rather cantankerous but interesting fellow.

Gosh, getting toward 15 years. It's still quite small and fruits intermittently. Best harvest so far has been 3 delicious mangoes (supermarket standard easily) but this year it looks like being the best harvest ever - maybe 5-7 mangoes. The trick is to keep these trees low so you can easily reach the fruit.

again, that's really cool. Just for kicks, I sprouted a Mange Pit indoors, it reached 3 feet tall. Our weather isn't really suited for outdoor planting, and it withered and died eventually.
