This actually happened a little over 2 years ago on the corner of 41st Street and 5th Avenue right across from the main branch of the NYC Public Library. I remember because I worked at a nearby hotel then.

I don’t make minimum wage, you stupid shithead. In fact, most hotel employees make somwhere between 1.75x-3x minimum wage. I personally know 5 hotel employees in the union making $80-$100K+ here. Before you commit to typing, make sure your monkey ass knows what you’re talking about.

$80-100k a year in NYC is poverty bucks. The hotdog guys make that there. I make $800,000 a year because I'm a radiologist. Not flexing. But you can do better in life rather than live in that shit hole making those goybucks.

Yes, that is true. The hot dog guys do very well here. The median salary in the whole of NYC is about what my base salary is. My salary is poverty level for Manhattan, but is lower middle class for the outer boros, which is where I live. I have no desire to finish my degree or go to school again. I like what I do for a living and I am well suited for it—just not management.
