A Chinese company this week developed a micro #nuclear battery. It’s smaller than a coin and can generate electricity at 3V constantly for over 50 years without charging, maintenance, or radiation leakage. So amazing!

What’s going on in the U.S. Department of Energy? Why did we hand this technology over to the Chinese Government? “The Chinese company didn't steal this technology. It was given to them — by the U.S. Department of Energy. First in 2017, as part of a sublicense,

I've made uploads and posted in comments many times about the gov using nuclear batteries in many things. Boston Dynamics is using them in their robots that will absolutely blow your mind. They are building an army of these things right now to release on our asses at the moment of uprising.

in 2021, as part of a license transfer. An investigation by NPR and the Northwest News Network found the federal agency allowed the technology and jobs to move overseas, violating its own licensing rules while failing to intervene on behalf of U.S. workers multiple times.

i'm so shocked, shocked i tell you

apparently, this happened in 2017!

It happened because the bureaucracy surrounding it is infiltrated by Chinese loyalists. Indirectly reported by that NPR journalism. Basically, the guy that approved the license said he couldn't find any US based companies to manufacture the batteries so they went to a Swedish shell company that is really owned by China and sent manufacturing and therefore the IP to China.
