I'm no bible thumper, but even a quick read and it is obvious many of these have been taken entirely out of context.

Ephesians 5:3 for example refers to sexual impropriety and gives the following verse - the one you quoted - valuable context.

The full passage as a collective reads -

But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints.
Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving.

You grossly and willfully distorted the meaning and context of the passage. Seems an exceedingly odd thing to do if one genuinely is a christian.
Someone who would willfully twist bible verses out of context on a far right wing message board therefore has to be a JDL plant or an exceedingly sad troll.

To curse in biblical terms is to wish damnation upon someone. Like using the term "God damn." You're asking God to damn something or someone to hell.

The truth isn't an "insult." There are clearly abominations in the Bible and they are called out. jews might have considered it an insult when Jesus kick them out of the temple.

Thank you for this post. It inspired me to look at the great book a little today. I've found a line bible with the preserved (original) KJV and wanted to give those (slightly different than OP) scriptures here for anyone that may want them.
