Beyond stupid. How many of them looting this thing own or even have access to a vehicle? What was the business plan once they filled a bucket with a gallon or so of gas?

I can only put it down to the instinctive need to steal something that may even potentially have value. There's no discernible logic I can see here, even at the sub 80 IQ point.

(It's a home-made, disgusting, brown, mildly alcoholic, liquid that's made from fermenting mashed bananas and is the cheapest thing you can get, at about 5 cents for a re-purposed plastic 1 liter water bottle full.
